7/9/2013 – The combined team of Kirkland National and Kirkland American are the 2013 Junior Softball District 9 Champions – They defeated the combined team from Snoqualmie Valley/ North/ Falls in the Championship game at Everest Field. The team advances to the Junior Softball World Series in Kirkland as the Host team beginning August 11, 2013
